Project Officer vacancy

A rare opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to become part of the South Devon AONB team based in Totnes.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person to work with us and ensure that this nationally protected landscape thrives as a special place to live, work and enjoy.

What's involved

As well as being enthusiastic about our core purpose - to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of South Devon - you will have: hands-on experience of project development and project management relevant to protected landscapes; experience of working with partners and stakeholders; and a good understanding of policy and legislation relevant to protected landscape management.

You will have excellent communication skills, a keen team-working and partnership approach, an entrepreneurial outlook and the ability to work under your own initiative.

As the South Devon AONB unit is hosted by South Hams District Council, we will be using their application procedures. The application format now consists of a CV and a supporting statement.
