The AONB Partnership Committee meets three times a year. For each meeting, the agenda papers are placed on this webpage one week in advance of the meeting (right) followed by the minutes of the same a fortnight afterwards.
Meetings are open to members of the public and representatives of interested organisations to attend as observers. If you'd like more information about attending as an observer, please feel free to contact us.
Members of the public or interested organisations are welcome to submit questions or information for consideration by the Partnership Committee meeting, provided that the question is submitted to the AONB Manager in writing or by e-mail at least three weeks in advance of the meeting date.
The Partnership will provide a reply through the AONB Manager within two weeks of the Partnership Committee meeting.
To increase engagement with local communities and also to provide an opportunity for the wider AONB community to make a statement on local matters, on Friday 6th December 2019 (and continuing as a trial throughout 2020) the AONB Partnership meeting will be preceded by a presentation and public forum, Commencing at 9am (doors open from 8:45am), up to thirty minutes will be set aside for the presentation and up to fifteen minutes for the statements, each individual statement being a maximum of three minutes duration. This is an open meeting offering an opportunity to share views and concerns with the Partnership Committee Chairman and the AONB Manager in person.
The 2019 Annual Open Forum will be held on Wednesday 9th October 2019 at Stokeley Farm Shop, from 6.00pm. The first part of the evening will celebrate food and drink in the AONB. The second part will feature a presentation of the 2018-19 Annual Review followed by a Q&A session.
The 2018 Annual Open Forum was held on Monday 22nd October 2018 at The Flavel Arts Centre Dartmouth. The event celebrated the achievements of the HLF funded What Makes South Devon Special campaign and included the photo competition presentations. The event concluded with a presentation of the 2017-18 Annual Review.
