Crownhill Bay (Bovisand Park)

Type: Sandy cove located below Bovisand chalet park.
Ownership: Private. (Bovisand Park Ltd).
Access: From the car park down 92 steep steps with a handrail and clamber over some rocks at the bottom, or via 42 stairs, and some rocks, if coming from Bovisand Bay.
Disabled access: There is no disabled access down to the beach, but wonderful views from the grassy clifftop.
Parking: 70 spaces for cars. Parking on the grass is allowed when spaces are full. Charges apply.
Facilities: Beach shop with beach goods, refreshments, snacks, ice creams. Café. Public toilets in car park (100m from beach). Obtain key from caravan park office (100m).
Lifeguard: None.
Activities: Coastal walks.
Dogs: Dogs are not permitted on the beach at any time of day between 1st May and 30th September inclusive.
Barbecues: Not permitted.
Slipway access: None.
