The following information is correct to the best of our knowledge, however, if you spot anything that you know to be different, please contact us.

Type: Estuary mouth beach, completely flooded at high tide, large expanse of flat sand at low tide.
Ownership: The Flete Estate.
Access: Road access down to top of slipway. Pedestrian access down slipway to beach. Also accessible by walking round from Meadowsfoot Beach (Mothecombe) at low tide.
Disabled access: Slipway has an uneven stone surface, not suitable for wheelchair access.
Parking: Private car park. Charges apply. Around 500 spaces. 500m up the hill from the beach (Flete Estate).
Facilities: The Old School House by the car park has a café, toilets and some beach items. Seasonal opening.
Lifeguard: None.
Activities: Coastal walks.
Dogs: Yes.
Barbecues: Only with prior written permission from the Flete Estate.
Slipway access: Yes, but it has a locked post barrier at the top. Access is by arrangement with the Flete Estate.
