Canoeing

  • Canoe Adventures are based on the River Dart and offer guided tours in 12 seat canoes for families to share and groups to hire.
  • Singing Paddles are based on the Kingsbridge Estuary and offer guided canoeing, night paddles, canoe safaris, tea and cake tours and much more.
  • Winding River Canoe specialises in a variety of different guided canoe trips in beautiful locations.

Sailing

  • Dittisham Boats incorporates Dittisham Sailing School, Dittisham Boat Hire and Dart Adventures and operates from the village of Dittisham.
  • Marshall’s Sailing School are based on the River Dart and also offer sailing tuition and boat hire.
  • Sea Kayak & SUP (stand up paddle boarding) are based on the Salcombe Estuary and offer boat hire and tours.

When on a boat we enter the special world of our wildlife. Pack your binoculars and make the most of it! While there, care for their environment by following these tips:

  • Keep to speed limits.
  • Keep your distance when you spot wildlife, use your binoculars instead!
  • Avoid stirring up the seabed in shallow waters.
  • Take care when you anchor.
  • Keep noise to a minimum.
  • Never throw anything overboard.
