At the very edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is the Parish of Wembury. It runs from the Yealm estuary on the east around to the edge of Plymouth Sound. It is a marine conservation area as well as being designated for its amazing geology and wildlife.
With funding from South West Coast Path the AONB team produced and installed a series of interpretation panels telling the stories of the coast in this stunning part of the AONB.
Use the map below or the menu on the left to discover the stories behind the places that make up our Explore Wembury series. You can also find out where our information points are installed so you can visit this stunning area and absorb the stories in person as you walk the coastline.
