Join us on Wednesday 10th July at Malborough Village from 5.30pm onwards (presentations at 7pm) to find out more about traditional and innovative ways of mapping our landscape.
Our patron Jonathan Dimbleby will be introducing the evening and our speakers include Phil Planel Heritage Officer with East Devon AONB, who will be telling us about the human stories you can read from maps, together with Nicky Bailey and Roger English from South Devon AONB, who've been working with schools and communities during the past few months to explore new ways of recording aspects of the area we live in.
There will be a variety of displays from local organisations demonstrating how they have mapped aspects of their local surroundings.
Jonathan Dimbleby will also be launching our pioneering new app 'Rate My View'.
The event is a chance to hear about our work over the past 12 months and catch up with the team from the AONB Unit and the Partnership Committee. Everyone is welcome.
RSVP on 01803 861384 or to [email protected] by Friday 5th July please.
