Artwork from Thurlestone Primary School has recently been featured in the ever popular 'Primary Colours' exhibtion at the Harbour Gallery in Kingsbridge. The gallery was filled with exuberant, expressive and thoughtful artworks from local primary schools. This artwork was created by pupils from Thurlestone as park of our project Heritage Lottery Funded 'What Makes South Devon Special' campaign examining the 'Special Qualities' of South Devon AONB. This piece of artwork focussed on one of these qualities - 'An wild and rugged coastline.'
Communities officer Nicky Bailey commented "The children really engaged with this project and we are thrilled with this wonderful artwork."
