To date we have assisted with installation costs of village gateway signs in the following Parishes:
- Avonwick
- Diptford
- Holbeton
- Kingswear
- North Huish
- Slapton
- Stoke Fleming
- Strete
- Wembury
By supporting this initiative we hope to identify the area more clearly as being part of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (National Landscape). And in turn raise awareness of the protected landscape and its protection and enhancement.
We have extended the project in the current financial year (2020– 21) and are looking for additional parishes to participate in this scheme.
