Summer Shows
We have attended Yealmpton and Totnes shows and we were delighted to be awarded the prize for the best stand at the Yealmpton show. Some of the credit must go to our partners BTCV who entertained children making dream catchers and to the face painter Sue Norris who made the stand a focus of activity.
We will have a stand at both Kingsbridge Show on 3rd September and the Dart Water Festival on 10th September. Please come and say hello if you are at the events.

Foodies' Paradise
Beautiful landscape......beautiful food
We have some fantastic food and drink produced on our doorstep. A leaflet promoting food and drink from the South Devon AONB and links to the landscape is due to be published early in September. Its aim is to inform consumers about the many benefits of buying local and to encourage them to enquire about the origins of ingredients when they are eating out.
Its launch will be marked by a press trip by six key journalists who will spend two days visiting producers, and sampling some of the delicacies produced in the AONB.

Life into Landscape Progress
Showcasing day 30th September 2005
The Life into Landscape project is organising an event for funders and decision makers to demonstrate the excellent achievements of this innovative scheme, which integrates the environment with community , access, recreation, economic, landscape and heritage themes.
The day will focus on a site visit to the Sharpham Estate where various aspects will be demonstrated. The scheme has a further 1 year to run, hence we are starting to think about what comes next and are keen to involve representatives from potential new partnerships like the primary care trusts.
