Management Plan review – complete our survey

Management Plan review – complete our survey

The review

South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (National Landscape) unit is commencing the review of its five year management plan and wants local people and visitors to fill-in a short questionnaire to help shape the new plan.

The survey

The aim of this short survey is to assess what the challenges are for the area, what the priorites should be and whether there are any particular issues of concern. These could include such activities as improving the quality of new development, protecting wildlife and habitats, helping to support a profitable agricultural sector and conserving landscape features like hedgerows.

National Landscape Unit Project Officer Roger English said “We would like as many people as possible to respond to the survey whether they live in, work in, or visit the National Landscape. Their views will make a real difference to project development over the next five years.”

The survey is on the South Devon National Landscape website. Please click here The results of the survey will be used to shape the content of the National Landscape’s Management Plan, which will help to guide activity within the National Landscape over the next five years commencing in April 2019.
