Shingle backed by high cliffs at northern end.

Ownership

Leased and managed by South Hams District Council.

Access

Level access from road on to shingle beach. At Strete Gate there is a level, unsurfaced footpath along the back of the beach to soft shingle.

Disabled access

There is easy, level access onto the beach.

Parking

Strete Gate car park. 101 spaces. Charges apply. 150m to beach.

Facilities

Toilets 25m, picnic area, seasonal shack/ice cream van.

Lifeguard

None.

Activities

Coastal walks. Known as a nudist beach towards the north end.
